Choices

Welcome to Earth ~ thank you for choosing this planet as the destination for your human journey. As spirits or souls, you probably know what I am about to tell you. For those still inflicted with the amnesiac side affect of coming into a human body, I'll give you a little recap on the tour so far.

Basically everything is energy - you , me, the trees, the table, that chair, those clouds, the planets - whatever you can think, feel, see, hear, or experience. All the same stuff - let's call it universal energy, although you may have another word for it : Source Energy, All That There Is, God, Atoms and Particles, etc. Whatever you feel comfortable with calling it.

Now, as souls we are simply energy in a non-physical form. Pure Universal Energy. As we think, so we are. You might call this consciousness, or awareness. When we came to Earth via a human body, we retained our free will and ability to be our thoughts. Unlike a non-physical form however, the human body resides in a world of matter. This slows the manifestation of our thoughts down. We are used to instantaneously thinking and being in the spirit realm. Here at Club Earth, we have a new factor called 'time' to incorporate with our thought processes. We also have duality as a compulsory component of our journey. Back home in spirit, all that there is, just 'is'. It isn't defined as anything other than what it is. A thought is a thought. A spirit is a spirit. You get the picture. But once we step into human form, things become slightly more complicated. We develop an interesting accessory to our consciousness ~ much like that over-sized sombrero that seems so perfect when you are on holidays but becomes utterly useless once you return home. This human accessory is called ego. Ego helps us to fit in with the other natives here on Earth. Instead of standing out like a dorky tourist, we can talk the talk and walk the walk of the human locals. Now we can use our free will with our ego to define and describe our experiences while here on Earth. Our thoughts can now be called 'good thoughts' or 'bad thoughts'. In fact good and bad are typical terms of duality along with positive and negative, light and dark, innocent and guilty, and all the other opposites that belong together.

Seems like this Earth jaunt has limited our choices. Back in the spirit realm we had free will without the sombrero of ego distorting our view, all that is, just 'was', and whatever we thought instantly manifested. So why would any soul want to come to a place like this?! What's to gain by limiting the choices? The answer is: Defining who we are. Souls choose to come here because Earth presents a chance to experience existence at a different vibration from the energy elsewhere. By inhabiting a human body we are gifted souvenirs to take home such as soul growth, self-exploration, the experience of physicality, separation and reconnection. There is only one choice at the root of all experiences in human form, and that is between love and fear. If we break through the amnesia and reconnect with Universal or Source Energy, then we can experience our journey from love. In contrast, if we prefer to keep the connection severed and fully immerse ourselves in separation, then we will experience our journey from fear.

And that is the choice we make daily. Why? Because reality is multi-dimensional and all possibilities exist. Right HERE, right NOW. How they exist, correlates with the choices we all make.
